How are kidney cysts related to high blood pressure? - what to not eat for kidney cysts

I am in the second year of high school and college football games on the varsity team, and I'm in good shape. I eat well and do not drink caffeine. Recently my blood pressure was very high between 140/85 and 120/80. My doctor decided to pass a kidney ultrasound and found that I have a cyst in the right kidney. Now I have a kidney specialist to see whether the cyst caused my blood pressure. How is the determination and carried out the tests? I just want to be ready! Thank you!

First, the 120/80 is pretty good and normal! 140/85 does not seem to be traumatic, especially if they are a little nervous. The cyst can not or do not ... Ultrasound sometimes lie. However, if a cyst, check this out:

"As my kidneys affect my blood pressure?
Kidney damage can actually cause high blood pressure. One job of healthy kidneys to control blood pressure. They do so by the enzyme renin. When the kidneys are damaged, can not renin, as well as they should. This pressure causes an increase of the blood. More blood pressure may further damage the kidneys'

However, there are several plans and exercise programs for the control of blood pressure is recommended, let alone drugs.

Best, of course, seeing doctors and specialists who are in control of their health now and see what it takes to keep your health / body safe! Good luck!
